Buzzards have been seen recently at Attyflin, Patrickwell and at Reens Pike near Rathkeale (Adrian Insley), at Adare (Pat Fitzgerald) and at Kilmallock (per Andrew Holmes).
March is one of the best months to search for breeding Buzzards. Pairs tend to display on bright days with less than 50% cloud cover and are more likely to display if there are other pairs nearby. They have been seen in many parts of the County in the past few years so it is well worth keeping an eye for them over the next month.j
