The 1st winter Yellow-legged Gull and two 1st winter Iceland Gulls were at O’Callaghan’s Strand (TT).
The 2nd winterCaspian Gull was also seen there today (per Irish Birding).
Two Buzzards were at Ballinacourty, Glenroe (Tony Mee).

One first-winter male Marsh Harrier was at Lahinch Marsh (Nick Larter).
There were 17 White-fronted Geese at Tullagher Bog (Jeff L Copner).
One female Hen Harrier and three Little Egrets were at Poulnasherry Bay (JLC).
A small flock of 18 Barnacle Geese were at Moy Beach (JLC).
One Peregrine was at Doonbeg (JLC).
There was one Whimbrel at the Flaggy Shore (Paul Troake).
A flock of 51 Whooper Swans were near Kilkee (John Collins).
There were 28 Greylag Geese at Ballycar Lough (John N Murphy).

The Caspian Gull, a first winter Yellow-legged Gull and a 1st winter Iceland Gull were at O’Callaghan’s Strand today (Harry Hussey, Paidi Cullinan, Des Higgins, Norma Gleeson, Leon van der Noll and Joao de Brito). The Yellow-legged Gull is the seventh Limerick record and the first first year bird.
A Common Sandpiper was at Brown’s Quay and an adult Ring-billed Gull was at Arthur’s Quay(Paidi Cullinan).

Third year Yellow-legged Gull on the Shannon River near Shannon Banks John N Murphy
One GREAT WHITE EGRET was at Lough O’Grady this afternoon, This is a different bird to that of Lough Atedaun yesterday (John N Murphy & Finbarr MacGabhann).
One adult WHITE-TAILED EAGLE was at Mount Shannon (JNM & FMacG).
One third year Yellow-legged Gull was at Shannon Banks on the Clare/Limerick boarder (JNM & FMacG).
There were eight Waxwings at Carrig Dubh, Ennis today between 15.45 to 16.30 (Barry Howell).
There were six Twite at the beach on Aughinish (BH).One Buzzard was near Broadford (FMacG & JNM).
One Green Sandpiper, one Kingfisher, 36 Greylag Geese, 60 Tufted Duck . two Pochard and six Goldeney were at Ardclooney (JNM & FMacG).
One male Hen Harrier was near Oatfield, Sixmilebridge (JNM & FMacG).
At the Branch outing to Seafield, Quilty there were 15 Purple Sandpiper among a flock 1300 Dunlin, Sanderling, Turnstone, Oystercatcher, Ringed Plover etc. An adult Glaucous Gull was flying around near the pier. Around 130 Barnacle Geese were on nearby Mutton Island. (Nuala and Tom Lynch, Myles Carey et al)
One Kingfisher and a Peregrine were at Doon Lake, Broadford (JNM & FMacG).
Three Woodcock were at Kilnacreagh, Oatfield (FMacG & JNM).
There were 150 Tufted Duck, ten Goldeneye and two Little Egrets at Lough Derg (FMacG & JNM).

The Caspian Gull was at Thomond Weir this morning (Finbarr McGabhann & John N Murphy).
The 3rd winter Yellow-legged Gull was on the Shannon upstream of Athlunkard Bridge (JNM & FMcG).

The Caspian Gull and adult Ring-billed Gull were at the slipway at O’Callaghan’s Strand again today (Barry Howell & Seamus Feeney).

Great White Egret at Lough Atedaun John N Murphy
One GREAT WHITE EGRET was at Lough Atedaun late this afternoon (John N Murphy).
There were eight Waxwings at Carrig Dubh, Ennis this afternoon (16.20)(JNM).
There were five Black-throated Divers, five Long-tailed Duck and 90 Red-breasted Mergansers at Finvarra Point (JNM).
One adult Ring-billed Gull and 200 Brent Geese were at Lough Murree (JNM). Two of the Brent Geese were wearing colour leg bans. (1) Red band on Right and Left Legs, with white number 9’s. (2) White band on Right leg with the letter C in black, Red Band on left leg with a whinte number 4.
