Eight Whooper Swan, 46 Shoveler, 320 Wigeon, 142 Coot, 90 Tufted Duck, 26 Little Grebe, 4 Great-Crested Grebe, 60 Lapwing, two Little Egret and the Greater Scaup were at Ballyallia.(PC, N&TL)

Seventy Whooper Swan were at Kells.(PC)
Twenty one Purple Sandpiper were at Seafield, Quilty and around 100 Barnacle Geese were at nearby Mutton Island.(PC)
