Albino Curlew at Bishops Quarter John N Murphy

One Forster’s Tern, three Sandwich Terns, five Black-throated Divers, four Long-tailed Ducks, 25 Black Guillemots and a female Hen Harrier were off Aughinish Island. (John N Murphy & Finbarr MacGabhann)
Two Garganey, two Ruff, the partially albino Curlew, 350 Lapwing, 50 Dunlin and 69 Black-tailed Godwits were at Lough Atedaun. (JNM & FMacG)
There were 23 Black-throated Divers, a Whimbrel and one Merlin off Coolsiva Pier. (JNM & FMacG)

At the Clare BWI Branch outing a Swallow and 20 Purple Sandpiper were at Seafield. A hundred Barnacle Geese were at nearby Mutton Island.(Nuala and Tom Lynch, Stan Nugent, Dixie Collins et al)

The Cackling Goose, two Canada Geese and close to 300 Barnacle Geese were at Doonbeg. (John N Murphy)

There were 21 Whooper Swans at Lough Donnell along with a flock of 60 Goldfinch. (JNM)

An adult Mediterranean Gull was at Browne’s Quay (TT).
67 Lapwing, a Redshank and 16 Wigeon were at King’s Island marsh (TT).
Seven Gadwall were at Healy’s Field (TT).

A Merlin and a Buzzard were seen near Askeaton (TT).
Two Chiffchaffs and a Kingfisher was at Plassey (Geoff Hunt).
Nine Great Crested Grebes were at Ringmoylan and another was at Bleach Lough (TT).
A Blackcap was at Monaleen (TT).

A flock of 30 Whooper Swans were in fields near Tubber adjacent to the northward bound lane of the M18. (JNM)

Blackcaps were at Monaleen (TT) and Crecora (DC)
