Goosander at Ballymacrinan John N Murphy

The Goosander was at Ballymacrinan Bay along with ten Red-throated Divers and two Black Guillemots. (John N Murphy)
Another Goosander was at Killimer again today a different bird from the Ballymacrinan bird. (JNM)

Female Goosander at Killimer John N Murphy

One Little Auk was flying around Quilty Beach early this morning, with four Red-throated Divers on the sea. (JNM)
One female Goosander, six Red-throated Divers, 42 Guillemots and 145 Cormorants at Killimer. (JNM)
One adult Glaucous Gull was at Aughinish this morning along with four Long-tailed Ducks and two Sandwich Terns. (Paul Troake)

Single Merlins were seen today near Askeaton (TT) and Abbeyfeale.
Buzzards were seen at Ballysteen (Will O’Connor), Ellaha, Lismakeery, Creeves and Kildimo(TT)
Two Chiffchaffs and a Kingfisher were also seen at Abbeyfeale.

Slavonian Grebe at Poulnasherry John N Murphy

One Slavonian Grebe and the Velvet Scoter were at Poulnasherry Bay this morning,(John N Murphy) along with one Red-throated Diver and seven Great Northern Divers.
