At the Bridges of Ross this morning (6.10-14.30) there were two Wilson’s Petrels, two Long-tailed Skuas, 12 Cory’s Shearwaters, 46 Great Shearwaters, three Balearic Shearwaters, 100 Sooty Shearwaters, two Sabines Gulls, four Pomarine Skuas and 27 Storm Petrels. (per Irishbirding.com)
Off the Bridges of Ross this afternoon (14.50-19.30), there was one Wilson’s Petrel, two Great Shearwaters, 60 plus Sooty Shearwaters, 25 Storm Petrels, 19 Sabine’s Gulls, three Arctic Skuas, two Pomarine Skuas, three Bonxies, and 300 Arctic Terns. (Simon Mitchell)
At Kilkee cliffs (08.10-10.15) there was one Great Shearwater, 14 Sooty Shearwaters,one Balearic Shearwater, one Bonxie, one Sandwich Tern, three Dunlin, three Ringed Plover and nine Whimbrel. (Chris and Alex Cullen)

Between the Bridges of Ross and Ross Loop Head today (6.25-18.25), there was one Wilson’s Petrel (Mikey Hoit et al(10.20-10.28), two Long-tailed Skuas, 270 Great Shearwaters, 13 Cory’s Shearwaters, 600 Sooty Shearwaters, 12,000 Manx Shearwaters, one Blue Fulmar, six adult Sabine’s Gulls, one Leach’s Petrel, 14 Storm Petrels, seven Arctic Skuas, ten Bonxies, 101 Arctic Terns, five Sandwich Terns, six Puffin, two Common Scoter, seven Turnstones, 12 Whimbrel and one large Sun Fish. A juvenile Great Spotted Woodpecker was seen near Parteen, confirming successful breeding in the area for the second successive year. An adult female was also seen in the area. (Tiernan Downes)
