An Olive-backed Pipit was at Loop Head Lighthouse this morning. (Chris Cullen, John N Murphy, Finbar MacGabhann et al) This is a first county record of this species.

At Kilbaha this morning there were two Yellow-browed Warblers in the village, with one Twite at the Eire sign on the headland, one Chiffchaff, one Goldcrest and three Swallows, one Merlin and dozens of Redwing. (John N Murphy)

Myrtle Warbler at Kilbaha John N Murphy
The Yellow-rumped Warbler was still in Kilbaha this morning. A Willow Warbler, a Chiffchaff and five Swallows were also in the gardens. A Kestrel and six Golden Plover were near the Lighthouse and a Kingfisher was in a drain near the harbour.(Finbar MacGabhann, Ray Glynn, Nuala and Tom Lynch, Tom Tarpey et al)
A Merlin was at Kilcredaun and two Swallows were at Carrigholt. (TT)
