At Ross Ringing Station this morning (9.00-11.30) there were 12 Cory’s Shearwater, seven Sooty Shearwater, one dark phased Arctic Skua, one Storm Petrel, two Arctic Terns and 15 Sandwich Terns. (John N Murphy)

At Ross Ringing Station this morning there were two Wilson’s Petrels, one Cory’s Shearwater, one Sooty Shearwater, 20 Storm Petrels, two Common Scoter, two Whimbrel, one Puffin and a Carrion Crow and three Wheatear on the clifftop. (John N Murphy)

A four hour seawatch at Black Head this morning produced three Cory’s Shearwater, two Sooty Shearwater, six Puffin and around 2000 Manx Shearwater per hour.(Paul Troake)
At the Bridges of Ross between 05.30-16.30 there were six Wilson’s Storm Petrel, one Leach’s Petrel, 30 Storm Petrel, 56 Cory’s Shearwater, nine Great Shearwater, 28 Sooty Shearwater and two Great Skua.(N.T. Joint tallies from Bridges of Ross and Ross Ringing Station today (6am-6pm). There were 28 Wilson’s Petrels, 80 European Storm Petel, 550 Cory’s Shearwater, 120 Great Shearwater, 33 Sooty Shearwater, one Arctic Skua, one ‘Blue’ Fulmar, 80 Puffins.
