At Applewood, Ballycar today there was one Peregrine, two Buzzards, two Common Terns, 140 Black-tailed Godwits and ten Little Egrets. (John N Murphy)

A Marsh Harrier, two drake Garganeys, 21 Gadwall, two Buzzards and a Reed Warbler were at Coonagh (TT).

One Osprey flew west over the Shannon Airport Lagoon this morning. (John N Murphy) Also at the SAL was one Reed Warbler, one Buzzard, one drake Wigeon, one drake Gadwall and a late Whimbrel.
There were 11 Little Egrets at Applewood, Ballycar this morning. (JNM)

Monday 11th May 2020

Two Scottish colour-ringed Lesser Black-backed Gulls were in Limerick City today. White 25E:C, a 4cy bird from Horse Isle, Ardrossan on the Firth of Clyde, was also seen in the City last September on its autumn passage southwards. The second bird, White 35C:C, also from Horse Isle, was ringed as a chick on 14/7/2018.
