Manx Shearwater off the tip of Loop Head John N Murphy

One adult summer plumages Sandwich Tern was on Kilkee Beach. (John N Murphy)
One adult Ring-billed Gull and a 3CY Iceland Gull were at Cloghaun Lough, Kilbaha with 200 Manx Shearwaters off the tip of Loop Head and 2,500 Guillemots on the nesting colonies.(JNM)
A Stock Dove, five Little Egrets, two Whooper Swans and a Water Rail were at Kilcredaun Marsh. (JNM)
There were 42 Chough at Moveen. (JNM)

A 2CY Glaucous Gull was at Fisher’s Street, Doolin.(Páidí Cullinan)
A littoralis Rock Pipit was at Clahane.(PC)
An adult Iceland Gull, a 2CY Glaucous Gull, 30 Common Scoter and six Red-throated Diver were at Liscannor Harbour.(PC)
A pair of Crossbill were at Sliabh Elva.(PC)

A Great Spotted Woodpecker was reported in a woodland area at Knockanes, Adare this morning (per Irishbirding(Pat Ryan).
A male Hen Harrier flew over the N21 near Templeglantine (TT).

A 3rd winter(4cy) Iceland Gull was at Harvey’s Quay today (Geoff Hunt). This is at least the sixth Iceland type gull in Limerick so far this winter in what is proving to be a bumper influx.
A Common Sandpiper was at Corbally (GH).
A pair of Gadwall was at Westfields (GH).
Buzzards were seen at Dooradoyle (Clare/Limerick Bird News) and an undisclosed location (Irishbirding) in the County.

A 2CY Glaucous Gull and a pair of Long-tailed Duck were at Finvarra Point.(Páidí Cullinan)
Two drake Long-tailed Duck were at the Flaggy Shore.(PC)
Thirteen Common Scoter were at Coolshiva Pier.(PC)
A banded Brent Goose was at Ballyvaughan, right Blue C and left Yellow X. This bird was also seen in Strangford Lough and various places in Galway Bay previously.(PC)
Two Buzzard were at Broadford.(Cliff Baxter)
