Immature Black Redstart on Keatings Pub roof in Kilbaha John N Murphy

There was one Black Redstart in Kilbaha village along with one Blackcap, four Chiffchaff a late staying Willow Warbler, one Merlin, one male Peregrine and over 400 Herring Gulls. (John N Murphy)

One of two colour ringed Sanderling at Kilkee found by (DC) John N Murphy

There were three Purple Sandpiper, 120 Turnstone, 33 Sanderling and 40 Ringed Plover at the west end of Kilkee beach. (Dixie Collins)

At Loop Head and Kilbaha there were three Yellow-browed Warblers, one Snow Bunting, three Blackcaps, four Chiffchaff, 12 Goldcrest, one Little Egret, one Merlin, one Peregrine and a female Hen Harrier. (Tony Mee, Paidi Cullinan & Jeff Copner)

A female Hen Harrier, over 600 Wigeon, 320 Coot, 260 Lapwing, 210 Black-tailed Godwit, 160 Teal, 72 Shoveler, 59 Greylag Geese, 45 Mallard, 38 Tufted Duck, 27 Little Grebe, 24 Curlew, 21 Gadwall, 12 Pintail Duck, four Whooper Swan and two Little Egret were at Ballyallia.(Nuala and Tom Lynch)

Radde’s Warbler at Loop Head John N Murphy

A RADDE’S WARBLER was at the West Bank, Loop Head today. (John N Murphy, Tony Mee et al) This is a first county record of this rare Siberian vagrant.
Also at Loop Head and Kilbaha today were five Yellow-browed Warblers, one Blackcap, one Willow Warbler, five Chiffchaff, hundreds of Redwing, Song Thrush,Blackbirds and one Fieldfare, two Merlin, one Gen Harrier, three Little Egrets, three Redpoll and a Siskin. Juvenile male Merlin at Loop Head John N Murphy

One Black Redstart was at Loop Head this morning. (John N Murphy & Tony Mee) Also on the headland and Kilbaha were one Yellow-browed Warbler in Keatings Garden, three Chiffchaff, four Goldcrest, one Siskin, four Redpoll, nine Pink-footed Geese, 11 Barnacle Geese, 25 Song Thrush, 80 Snipe, one Merlin and one immature/female Hen Harrier.
