A WHITE-TAILED EAGLE was at the south side of Ballyallia Lake at 1.30pm. The bird was still present up to 3pm and was observed wearing an Orange tag with No. 2 on left wing, and a Blue tag with No. 2 on its right wing. Four Cattle Egrets were seen at Mungret today (Trevor Browne, Tom Tarpey). The birds are in a field with cattle just south west of the railway crossing on the R510 between the Dock Road and Raheen. At least two birds have been in the area since Tuesday last(TB).
A 2nd calendar year Iceland was at Harvey’s Quay (TT).
Three Hen Harriers were seen at the Branch out to the Ballyhouras (Tony Mee, Maura Turner et al.)

Twenty three Black-throated Diver, a Red-throated Diver, 15 Great Northern Diver and ten Common Scoter were between Coolshiva Pier and Gleninagh Castle.(Páidí Cullinan)
