Two Pink-footed Geese at Fodry, Loop Head John N Murphy
Two Pink-footed Geese flew in off the sea this evening to the Fodry area of Loop Head (John N Murphy & Tom Tarpey)
Also at Loop Head today were one Short-eared Owl, two Merlin, two Peregrine, two Chiffchaff, 200 Golden Plover, 30 Lapwing, two Redwing, one Fieldfare and one Goldcrest. (Tom Tarpey & John N Murphy)

One Short-eared Owl, one immature/female Hen Harrier, three Merlin, one Peregrine, two Swallows, one Jack Snipe, 14 Redwing, three Fieldfare, one Goldcrest, 60 Rock Dove, 60 House Sparrows, 25 Lapwing, 170 Golden Plover, 60 Shag, two Great Northern Divers fling over the headland and 14 Chough were at Loop Head today. Two large raptors, most likely Buzzards, were seen circling in the sky near Ballyneety, (east Limerick).
