One of the Yellow-browed Warblers at Kilbaha Jeff Copner

There were three Yellow-browed Warbler, a Chiffchaff and a Bullfinch at Tevlin’s Garden, Kilbaha.(Geoff Pearson, Jeff Copner)
A Jack Snipe was flushed on the Fodry Path.(GP, JC)
One male Great Spotted Woodpecker was at Ardnacrusha. (John N Murphy)
A Merlin was at the Lighthouse and the Fodry.(GP,JC)
There were 105 Common Scoter and seven Red-throated Diver at Lahinch.(GP)

Siberian Lesser Whitethroat at Kilbaha Jeff Copner

The Siberian Lesser Whitethroat, one Yellow-browed Warbler and eight Redpoll were at Connolly’s Garden, Kilbaha.(Jeff Copner)
Two Yellow-browed Warbler, five Chiffchaff, three Goldcrest and a Fieldfare were at Tevlin’s Garden, Kilbaha.(Anthony Mee)
Two more Yellow-browed Warbler were at Seni’s Garden, Kilbaha.(AM)
A Blackcap was at the West Bank, Loop Head.(AM)
A Black Redstart, a Merlin and a flock of Redwing were at the Lighthouse, Loop Head this morning.(JC)
An immature White-tailed Eagle with no wing tags flew west over Shannon Airport Lagoon and up along the River Fergus.(John N Murphy)
An adult female Marsh Harrier was at Shannon Airport Lagoon. The same bird was at Coonagh a few weeks ago.(JNM)

Also on the Headland were one male Hen Harrier and a Merlin.(JO)
A Chiffchaff was at the Yanks garden at the Foda. Loop Head.(CC)

At Black Head/Gleninagh there were 45 Great Northern Diver, one Red-throated Diver, two Black Guillemot, four Common Scoter and 25 Razorbill.(Geoff Pearson)
A White-tailed Eagle and two Buzzard were at Applewood, Ballycar this evening.(JNM)

Another Chiffchaff was at Senie’s Garden.(AM)
One Black Redstart was at the Lighthouse as well as a Merlin and Sparrowhawk. (AM, NL & TL)
Over 30 Redwing were on the Headland and the gardens Kilbaha.(NL & TL)

A Siberian Lesser Whitethroat was at Connolly’s Garden Kilbaha this afternoon.(Anthony Mee & John N Murphy)
Also at Loop Head there were three Yellow-browed Warblers, two Black Redstarts on the northern wall of the lighthouse, four Chiffchaff, one Merlin, five Goldcrest, 40 Song Thrush, one Buzzard, one Merlin, 30 Chaffinch, 22 Golden Plover and 15 Snipe.(JNM & AM)
A feeding frenzy of seabirds were plunge diving around a small whale just south of Kilbaha harbour with over 60 Sooty Shearwaters and ten Manx Shearwaters around lunchtime. (JNM)
Twenty Sooty Shearwater were off the tip of Loop Head early in the afternoon probably birds moving out of the mouth of the estuary.(AM)

Two Great White Egrets were on the River Maigue at Croom (Sean Doyle). These are the 4th & 5th County records for the species.
A Siberian Chiffchaff and two Common Chiffchaffs were at Aughinish (John N Murphy).

A male Hen Harrier, 16 Golden Plover and a Little Egret were at Cloughaun Lough.(TT)
A ringed-tailed Hen Harrier and probably the same male Hen Harrier at the east end of the Bog Road.(TT)
A Kestrel and a Little Egret were at Kilbaha.(TT)

A Barn Owl was a road casualty on the N24 near Killonan (Andrew Holmes).
