Two Cattle Egrets at the Coonagh Nature Reserve this morning. 16 pairs of Gadwall were also present (TT).
A Buzzard was at Mungret(TT).

A 2nd calendar year Iceland Gull was at Sarsfield Lock (Geoff Hunt).

A Cuckoo was head calling at the Coonagh Nature Reserve this morning. Ten pairs of Gadwall and four pairs of Great Crested Grebes were also at the site (TT).
Swallows were seen at Ballingarry (Andrew Holmes) and the Ennis Road, Limerick City (TT).

Three 2nd calendar year Iceland Gulls and a Common Sandpiper were on the Shannon in Limerick City today (TT).
Two House Martins and a Willow Warbler were at Coonagh (TT).
A Merlin was seen at Ballybricken (Andrew Holmes).

Four Buzzards were seen at Knockfennel, Lough Gur (Geoff Hunt).

A Swallow and 30 Sand Martins were on the Shannon at Corbally (TT).

Four Cattle Egrets were seen at Mungret today (Trevor Browne, Tom Tarpey). The birds are in a field with cattle just south west of the railway crossing on the R510 between the Dock Road and Raheen. At least two birds have been in the area since Tuesday last(TB).
A 2nd calendar year Iceland was at Harvey’s Quay (TT).
Three Hen Harriers were seen at the Branch out to the Ballyhouras (Tony Mee, Maura Turner et al.)

Monday 27th March 2017

Willow Warblers were in song along the Shannon at Rhebogue and Dromroe (TT).
Four Sand Martins, two Redshank and a Kingfisher were on the Shannon near the Mill Road, Corbally (TT).

Sunday 26th March 2017

Three Buzzards were at Glenanaar and a single bird was at Ballyorgan (Tony Mee).
