Reed Warbler Tom Tarpey

A Marsh Harrier, two Reed Warblers, a Grasshopper Warbler, six Sedge Warblers, a Whimbrel, 16 Gadwall and nine Pochard were at Coonagh (TT)

Three Crossbills were at Slievereagh Mountain (Irishbirding-Tara Boelens).

Monday 19th April 2021

Two Great Spotted Woodpeckers were at Grange (William Hipgrave)

Sunday 18th April 2021

A Cuckoo was at Toorlougher, Slieve Felim (Mike Quirke).
A Cuckoo was also heard on the Limerck-Tipperary border at Annaholty Bog. Two Curlew and two Whimbrel were at the adjacent Gooig Bog (TT).

Friday 16th April 2021

A 2cy male Marsh Harrier, a Buzzard, three Sedge Warblers and a Jack Snipe were at Coonagh (TT).
A 2cy Iceland Gull was at Arthur’s Quay (TT).

Thursday 15th April 2021

A female Hen Harrier and a Buzzard were seen near Glenstal Woods (TT).

A Cuckoo was at Dromkeen (Mike Quirke).

Saturday 10th April 2021

A 2cy Iceland Gull was at Bishop’s Quay (TT).
250 Golden Plover passed over Crecora (Derek Casey).
A House Martin and a Swallow were at Browne’s Quay. Swallows were also seen at Thomondgate and Monaleen (TT).

Thursday 8th April 2021

A 4cy Yellow-legged Gull was at Thomond Weir (TT).
A 2cy Iceland Gull was at Honan’s Quay (TT).

Wednesday 7th April 2021

A Buzzard was at Snaty, Sixmilebridge (Tom Tarpey).
