A Long-tailed Duck was seen at Aughinish. The Black Brant was at New Quay. Three Black-throated Diver and 34 Scoter were spotted off Finvara Point.

The drake Lesser Scaup and two Siberian Chiffchaffs were at Lough Gash (Finbarr McGabhann). The Black Brant Goose was back at Munnia, New Quay (Jeff Copner), within a flock of 270 Pale-bellied Brent Geese. A further 160 Brent Geese, 52 Grey Plover and two Long-tailed Ducks were at Aughinish Island and causeway. One female Greater Scaup, two Pochard and 21 Brent Geese were at Lough Murree. There were 16 Shoveler and 20 Whooper swan at Ballyvelane, Burrin pond.

The drake Lesser Scaup was still at Lough Gash (John N Murphy), along with two Siberian Chiffchaffs, 28 Gadwall and 180 Tufted Ducks. Three Little Egrets, five Water Rails, 14 Gadwall and 36 Shoverler were at the Shannon Airport Lagoon.

First-winter Mediterranean Gull at Kilbaha © Finbarr McGabhann
The drake Lesser Scaup was at lough Gash (Chris Ten Bohmer). The Black Brant was at New Quay (Dermot Breen). A hybrid drake Lesser Scaup x Pochard cross was at lough Murree. One first-winter Mediterranean Gull was in Kilbaha Harbour. One Little Egret and nine Greater Scaup were at Knock, Clonderlaw Bay. Nine Little Egrets, 500 Golden Plover and three Greater Scaup were at Moyasta.One Little Egret was at Kilrush Marina. There were 16White-fronted Geese at Tullagher Bog.

The Black Brant was back at Munnia, New Quay (Paul Troake), within a flock of 280 pale-bellied Brent Geese and one dark-bellied Brent. At Corranroo Bay (Clare/Galway border) there was one adult Mediterranean Gull, one Spotted Redshank and two Sandwich Terns. At Flaggy Shore/Finvara Point there were seven Long-tailed Ducks, six Black-throated Divers and a Barnacle Goose (field by L.Murree).
