At the Bridges of Ross today there were five Balearic Shearwaters, nine Sooty Shearwaters, nine Arctic Skuas, five Bonxies and 50 Storm Petrels. (Irish birding.com)

18 Gadwall, a Wigeon, five Tufted Duck, three Pochard and two Buzzards were at Coonagh (TT).


Saturday 21st August 2021

A 3cy Yellow-legged Gull was at Clancy’s Strand (TT).
A juvenile Shag was at O’Callaghan’s Strand (TT).


Thursday 19th August 2021

The Carrion Crow was still at Cloonkett along with five Crossbills. (John N Murphy)

At the Bridges of Ross this morning things were quiet with one Sooty Shearwaters, less than 1,000 Manxies, two Bonxies, 67 Sandwich Terns, 12 Whimbrel, one Black Guillemot, one Minxie Whale and a Blue-finned Tuna. (John N Murphy et al)
