There were 20 Black-throated Divers and 23 Common Scoter at Coolshiva Pier.(Páidí Cullinan)
Two Long-tailed Duck were at Finvarra Point.(PC)
Two Pink-footed Goose were still at Lough Maree.(PC)

Two Swallows were at Ballysheedy and another was at Crecora (Derek Casey).

A Willow Warbler, a Blackcap and two Chiffchaffs were in song at Monaleen. Three Buzzards were also seen in the area (TT).
A Great Spotted Woodpecker was drumming at Portnard, Cappamore (Mike Quirke).
A House Martin was at Crecora (Derek Casey).
A Swallow was at Ballingarry (Andrew Holmes).
Two Willow Warblers and a Chiffchaff were at Gooig Bog.

Two Great Spotted Woodpeckers have been visiting a peanut feeder in a private garden near Parteen regularly in the past few weeks.

A Swallow was at Kilmeedy (Andrew Holmes).
A pair of Great Spotted Woodpeckers was drumming at the same location near Murroe where they bred successfully last year (Gordon Young).


Sunday 28th March 2021

A 1st winter Iceland Gull was at Bishop’s Quay and a 1st winter Glaucous Gull was at Honan’s Quay (TT).
A Merlin, two Scaup, 17 Pochard, 13 Tufted Duck, two Gadwall and 60 Sand Martins were at Coonagh (TT).
A Blackcap was in song at Crecora. Seven Fieldfare were also present (Derek Casey).
