Five Snow Bunting, six Black-throated Diver, 94 Common Scoter and a Brent Goose(white band with inscription C on right leg and red band with inscription 4 on left leg) were at the Rine, Ballyvaughan.(Páidí Cullinan)
Twenty one Common Scoter and 10 Black-throated Diver were off Coolshiva Pier.(PC)
Two Long-tailed Duck, eight drake Scaup and one female were at Ardclooney.(Paul Troake)

50 Tufted Duck, a Pochard, seven Mallard and two Blackcaps were seen at Westfields during the annual Limerick Branch Christmas outing. A Redshank was also seen at Clancy’s Strand along with 25 Oystercatchers at King’s Island (Maura Turner, TT et al.)

An Polish colour ringed adult Black-headed Gull, Yellow TLW5, was the Lax Weir, Corbally (TT). The bird was ringed as an adult on 15/5/2019 at Lubczyna in north western Poland, close to the German border, 1551km from Limerick. This is the second eastern European Black-headed Gull recorded in Limerick this winter.
50 Tufted Duck, two Pochard, eight Mallard and five Mute Swans were at Westfields (TT).

An adult Ring-billed Gull was at O’Callaghan’s Strand (TT).
Buzzards was seen near Boher (Clodagh Glasgow) and Kilmeedy (Andrew Holmes).

An adult White-tailed Eagle was at Templeglantine (David Kenneally).
Two Brambling were at Curraghchase (Ian O’Connor).
82 Gadwall, 18 Shoveler, nine Tufted Duck, seven Pochard, 46 Lapwing and 12 Snipe were at Coonagh (TT).
20 Whooper Swans were at Lough Gur (James McGrath).
