American Wigeon at Lough George John N Murphy

A drake American Wigeon was in flooded fields near Kells between Lough George and Lough Cullaun, Corofin this afternoon. (John N Murphy & Austin Cooney) There were also 70 Whooper Swans in this area.

Five Crossbills were at Slieve Bearnagh with three Buzzards were at Chaherhurley, one Buzzard at Broadford, another at Twomile Point on Lough Deeg and another at Tineranna House. (John N Murphy)
