An Osprey was hunting briefly at the Coonagh Nature Reserve before moving off westwards down the Shannon Estuary(Tom Tarpey). This is the fifth County record and the first know Spring record in Limerick. A 1st summer Mediterranean Gull, 48 Whimbrel 150 Black-headed Gulls, a Little Egret and six Gadwall were also present in the area.
A 1st summer Iceland Gull was at Arthurs Quay (TT).
Three Common Sandpiper were at Lough Bunny this morning.(Páidí Cullinan)
Fifty four Great Northern Diver and 14 Common Scoter were off Coolshiva Pier.(Paul Troake)
A drake Surf Scoter was between the Coolshiva Pier and the Rine(PT)
Thirteen Black-throated Diver and a drake Long-tailed Duck were off the Rine.(PT)
A Red-throated Diver, nine Black-throated Diver, 42 Great Northern Diver and 15 Golden Plover were at Bishops Quarter.(PT)
A hundred Manx Shearwater were off Black Head.(Páidí Cullinan)
A 2CY male Peregrine and a Dipper were at the Caher Valley(PC)
Sixteen Whimbrel, 28 Shelduck, 21 Brent Geese and 49 Sandwich Tern were at Rine Point.(PC)

At least three Sedge Warblers and numerous Willow Warblers were is song at Coonagh. Seven Whimbrel, a Snipe, three pairs of Great Crested Grebes, six Greylag Geese, six Gadwall, four Mallard, three Pochard, 12 Tufted Duck and 120 Bkack-headed Gulls were also present (TT).
Three Hen Harriers were seen on the Branch outing to the Doon area. Cuckoo, Blackcap, Chiffchaff, Willow Warbler, Sparrowhawk and Kestrel were also seen (Maura Turner).
A Buzzard was seen near Cappamore (MT).

One adult Iceland Gull was at Kilbaha with one 2CY Glaucous Gull at Ross Bay. (John N Murphy)
Throughout the rest of Loop Head there was one female Blackcap, three Sedge Warblers, ten Collared Doves, 38 Golden Plover, eight Wheatear, 2,600 Manx Shearwater between Loop Head Lighthouse and the Bridges of Ross. (JNM)
There were 200 Manx Shearwaters feeding off the rocks at Rineville Bay with 12 Arctic Terns and 14 Common Terns feeding beside them and two Red-throated Divers and three Great Northern Divers in the bay. (JNM)

Two Grasshopper Warblers,a Sedge Warbler and one Warer Rail were singing at Clonmoney South opposite Saints Island on the Shannon Estuary.(Páidí Cullinan)
There was one Greenland White-fronted Goose and eight Sedge Warblers at the Shannon Airport Lagoon along with 23 Gadwall, 20 Whimbrel, 178 Black-tailed Godwits, 57 Golden Plover, four Water Rails and three Little Egrets. (PC)
