Clare Bird Sightings

A seawatch at the Bridges of Ross from 06.50-18.50 produced 10 Leach’s Petrel, one Pomarine Skua, three Arctic Skua, three Common Tern, seven Sandwich Tern, 624 Gannet, 9820 Manx Shearwater, 7968 Kittiwake, 1284 Fulmar, 4956 Auks, and two Purple Sandpiper.(Peter Phillips)

One 2CY Little Gull was at Shannon Airport Lagoon along with one Reed Warbler, three singing male Sedge Warbler. One Curlew Sandpiper 200 Redshank, one Sandwich Tern and a Whimbrel were on the mudflats nearby.(John N Murphy)
