Clare Bird Sightings

Tuesday 16th February 2021

Two 1st winter Iceland Gulls were on the Shannon in Limerick City (TT).
Four Buzzards were at Fort East, north of Charleville (John N Murphy).
A Norwegian ringed Common Gull, White JH584, was at Thomond Weir. The bird was ringed on 7/10/2018, in its 1st year, in the province of Rogaland in the southwest of the country and was still in Norway on 4/4/2019 (TT).

A White-tailed Eagle was at Ballyallia. Yellow F tag on right wing. Green tag on left wing.(Jeff Copner) One of six birds released at Lough Derg last August.
