Marsh Harrier Tom Tarpey

The immature Marsh Harrier, a probable male, was at Coonagh again today along with a Buzzard, 65 Gadwall, 26 Shoveler and 35 Teal (TT).
Two 1st winter Iceland Gulls were at O’Callaghan’s Strand (TT).

Scaup pair with Tufted Duck Tom Tarpey

An immature Marsh Harrier, 20 Shoveler, 12 Gadwall and two Scaup were at Coonagh (TT). This is the first winter record for Marsh Harrier at Coonagh.

One of the two Pink-footed Geese at Lough Murree John N Murphy

One immature Goosander and 16 Mediterranean Gulls were at Corranroo.(John N Murphy)
Two Pink-footed Geese and 114 Brent Geese were at Lough Murree.(JNM)
Between Finvarra Point and Aughinish Island there were 24 Black-throated Diver, six Red-throated Diver, 65 Great Northern Divers, 43 Black Guillemot, 28 Long-tailed Duck, 25 Red-breasted Mergansers, an additional 80 Brent Geese, six Guillemots, 30 Razorbills and one adult Mediterranean Gull.(JNM)
A small flock of 14 Yellowhammer were at Tubber.(JNM)

A drake Greater Scaup with a drake Tufted Duck at Ballycar Lough John N Murphy
