Two of the three Mealy Redpolls at Fort East John N Murphy

At least three Mealy Redpolls were seen in a flock of Lesser Redpolls on the Limerick side of the county boundary at Fort East, north of Charleville.(John N Murphy).
Two Buzzards and a male Merlin were also seen in the area.(JNM)
Buzzards were also seen at Rosbrien and Bunliickey.(JMN)

Blackcap Derek Casey

A pair of Great Spotted Woodpeckers was drumming near Murroe (Gordon Young).
A male Blackcap was in a garden at Crecora (Derek Casey)

There were 85 Barnacle Geese in fields west of Clohanes, near Lough Donnell.(JNM)
A flock of 51 Barnacle Geese were in fields north of Killard, Doonbeg.(JNM)
Seven Pink-footed Geese and 500 Golden Plover were at Farrihy Lake.(JNM)
