Two 1st winter Iceland Gulls were at O’Callaghan’s Strand (TT).

A drake Lesser Scaup was at Ardclooney along with 7 Greater Scaup, 360 Tufted Duck, 18 Pochard,16 Goldeneye and a Green Sandpiper.(John N Murphy) This was the 3rd County record of this rare North American duck.
Two immature Goosanders were also at Ardclooney. (Dave Lyons, Aine Lynch & JNM)
A female Marsh Harrier was at Lough Inchiquin.(Jeff Copner)
One male Brambling was near Kilbane, Broadford this afternoon. (JNM)
One drake Tufted Tuck was at Ardclooney wearing a nasal saddle, pale blue colour with black letter/number FJ3. (JNM) We received details of this bird, it was caught and ringed (EC109985) as 2 year old plus adult male, on 15th January 2020 at Saint Philbert-de-Grand Lieu, south west of Nantes, France.
Four Buzzards were at Doon Lake, Broadford. (JNM)
