A seawatch at the Bridges of Ross between 06.15-13.45 produced nine Cory’s Shearwater, three Great Shearwater, five Sooty Shearwater, up to 6000 Manx Shearwater per hour, 80 Storm Petrel, 12 Wilson’s Petrel, one Leach’s Petrel, one Pomarine Skua, two Arctic Skua, two Puffin, six Arctic Tern, up to 600 Fulmar per hour and four Common Scoter.(Geoff Pearson, Peter Philips)
An Arctic Skua and 55 Sandwich Tern including at least ten juvenile birds were seen between Rinevilla and Kilcredaun Marsh.(John Collins)

A seawatch at Ross Ringing Station between 08.00-12.00 produced a Borolo’s Shearwater (10.06), one Wilson’s Petrel (9.25) , three Cory’s Shearwater, two Sooty Shearwater, over 2,000 Manx Shearwater, three Storm Petrel, one Blue Fulmar, three Common Scoter and four Whimbrel.(John N Murphy)
